Volodymyr Markivskyy is the embodiment of success and hard work, confirmed by implemented projects around the world, awards and respect of people. His constant guiding principle is the strategy of growth and development, which is designed to change the face of Ukraine.
After founding his own company,”PETA Concern “Simeks”, and acquiring the Moscow SMU-8, Volodymyr Ivanovych carried out its complete technical upgrade. He personally visited the American company “Vermeer” and met with the owner, Mr. Vermeer, and his key executives. As a result, he signed long-term contracts to upgrade various types of machinery, machines, mechanisms, and equipment.
In 2000, Mr. Markivskyy invested his own funds in the construction of a new gricultural enterprise, establishing “Simeks-Agro LLC”. The development of this company attracted the attention of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and a
support program was launched to help Simeks-Agro, which lasted a record 5 years.
Later, Volodymyr Ivanovych decided to expand his business and started designing the “Smotrich” ski resort and rehabilitation center. The EBRD also included this project in its program. The most powerful companies were invited to develop the project, including the Canadian firm “Ecosign” with Paul Matthews at the helm and the Austrian ski equipment manufacturer “Doppelmayer” with Michael Doppelmayer.
At the same time, in July 2006, Mr. Markivskyy expanded his business to the Czech Republic, where he started real estate operations. The main area of activity was capital repairs, reconstruction of the housing stock, commissioning and sale of real estate.
In August 2012, Mr. Markivskyy founded another new business line, Pension “Prestige” VIM”, on the shores of the Azov Sea in Henichesk, Kherson region.
Currently, the cozy resort on Arabat Spit is under temporary occupation. The Smotrich ski resort and rehabilitation center has been fully designed and is at the stage of construction. The rest of the companies of the Simeks Development Group continue to work and develop under the careful and strong leadership of Volodymyr Ivanovych Markivskyy.
