Production and economic trade association (PETA)"Simeks" Concern was established on the basis of SMU-8 of the All-Union Trust "Mizhmiskzvyazbud".

The main activity in the early years was the construction of fiber-optic communication lines, civilian residential and non-residential technical facilities, and turnkey highways (design, construction, and commissioning).

Among the most important construction projects is the Italy-Turkey-Ukraine-Russia (ITUR) fiber-optic communication line (FOCL) of highways, including the A-4 highway of the third International Transport Corridor.

The main activities of the company are crop production, livestock breeding, storage, processing and sale of agricultural products.

The area of agricultural land of Simeks-Agro amounted to 18300 hectares of arable land in Vinnytsia region. Funding for the development of Simeks-Agro was provided exclusively by the company's own funds invested by Simeks.
